Doris Metropolitan - A great steak house! - Santa Ana

Doris Metropolitan – an EXCELLENT Steak restaurant. 

Our comments are “SOLO GOOD” – try this place, it doesn’t get better.  I don’t think there is a better steak restaurant in Costa Rica.  Big words but true.  Go to the web page and their description under the Restaurant tab is “spot on”. 

La Fiesta del Maiz – Costa Rican style restaurant - La Garita, Alajuela

If you are looking for local Costa Rican food try someplace else.  If your starving after a long ride from the beach drive a few hundred meters more for some real “tico” food.  

New World Restaurant - Escazu - MYA

 

Located on the south side of the road between San Rafael, Escazu and the Paco Commercial centerin Plaza Obelisco.  MYA was a very plreasant surprise.  I will continue to return in the future and try to taste the range of items on the menu but for my first trip and my second (the following day) it was refreshingly different and very good.

Fish Restaurant in Avenida Escazu - Product C

Located in Avenida Escazu, Product C was a huge disappointment.  I will try it several more times in the future and try to taste the range of items in the menu but for my first trip it was not what I expected. 

Clearly I didn't know what I was asking for when I ordered the Chorizo de Scallops.  I thought I was in a "Fish Restaurant" not a meat restaurant.  Lets get to the point(s).
